A long time ago, in a century far far away...
The year is 1992. Or for all intents and purposes it is. As a sort of media consumption project a friend and I are taking part in, for the next thirty calendar days, all media (books, movies, television etc.) will be from 1992. Some exceptions apply (kind of hard to develop Python code on Windows 3.1) , but I've got my plaid flannel on, Nirvana on the boombox, and I'm kicking it with the cool kids.
As to why? I'll let Ivan sum it up:
